Frightful Fall Read-a-thon Wrap-up

My first ever read-a-thon finished at midnight last night, and I didn't do too badly, with a total of four books read over the week. I probably could have done better over the weekend, but real life got in the way a little. Never mind, though - I had a good time with the read-a-thon, and particularly enjoyed using Twitter to converse with fellow Frightfallers and see what they were up to.

My four books were:

Of the four, my favourite was The Secrets Between Us, and my least favourite was definitely Henry James' yawnfest!

The read-a-thon may be over, but the spooky books will continue all month, as there's still the Frightful Fall reviewer's challenge and also the R.I.P. challenge to read for.

  1. Thank you for participating, Sophia! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. You did a great job! I think 4 books in a week is pretty impressive. =O)

Stay tuned for my Christmas Reading Challenge coming up this holiday season and my winter read-a-thon in January.

  2. Well done in finishing. I just noticed this but sadly would have failed at probably finishing one book. I loved The Turn of the Screw. It scared the hell out of me. I am sure I have read James Herbert's Once. I've read quite a few of his books and always get them mixed up. Not a huge fan of him but I did go through a phase of reading them. The rats trilogy was probably my favourite.

  3. @Michelle Christmas, you say? I am there!!

@Karen Yes, the rats trilogy was probably Herbert's best (especially Domain). The Turn of the Screw had a good story, it was just the writing style that put me to sleep!
